This type of house and lot have front, rear and any one side or both open spaces in between adjacent houses. A bigger space on one side is one feature of this house.

A single attached house though not completely attached to any house units but a small space in between two units could be seen. However, there are those built with a common wall typically on both sides of the property.

Best for: Small size families

Pros:

  • Easier to maintain yard beautification. Maximizing usage of your lot could be done without spending too much.
  • Cheaper compared to another featured house type. A smaller lot fit for a small size family is priced lower than those with bigger lot size.
  • Shares a firewall with another house. Most houses built in this type comes with a firewall to prevent spreading of fire.

Cons:

  • Future expansion is limited. As the lot area is smaller, expansions could only be done with the already standing house structure per se additional floors.

If you’re in need of a home such as this one there are available houses and lots for sale in Imus, Cavite that offers a range of homes to choose from.

Single Detached Houses

This house stands alone boasting quite the extra spaces of lot around it. The house itself is built in the middle of the lot with no common walls detached from any side of the lot.

Best for: Growing and large families

Pros:

  • Privacy. If you aren’t keen with people snooping around your lot, this type certainly is the right kind for you to ward off outsiders.
  • Larger yard areas. This house type comes with spacious backyard and front yard areas perfect for future house upgrades.
  • Room to grow. When the family grows bigger, an opportunity for expansion and renovation is possible.

Cons:

  • More expensive. Be sure to prepare quite the budget for this type as owning a wider lot means higher cost.
  • Higher maintenance cost. With this much space, maintenance and upkeep of the place could be costly.
